Join Alan Elsner, a veteran Reuters correspondent and acclaimed novelist, for an evening of questions and answers about his new book "Romance Language." Elsner's novel begins in Romania on the eve of the 1989 revolution and then jumps forward to 2007. It tells of a passionate love affair between an American journalist and a Romanian poet and contains a meticulous reconstruction of the dramatic events of the revolution. Elsner is also author of "Gates of Injustice: The Crisis in America's Prisons" that was hailed by the late Sen. Edward Kennedy as a "wake-up call for the nation." Alan will read a section of his book, answer questions and sign copies. The location of this event will be announced in December.
